Splashpad
We’re really sorry, but the splashpad at Brinton Park is currently out of service due to a major fault in the filtration system.
We know how much families enjoy this free space, and we understand how disappointing this is.
Our team is working hard to fix the issue as quickly and safely as possible. Once repairs are complete, we’ll need to carry out full safety checks and send water samples for testing before it can reopen.
Due to the scale of the repairs and the steps that must follow, the splashpad is expected to remain closed for several weeks.
We really appreciate your patience and understanding. We’ll keep you updated and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it’s safe to do so.
Key information
- The splashpad is open daily, from 11am to 5pm. It is now closed for the season.
- On busy days the splashpad may be closed between 2pm and 3pm for cleaning and safety checks
- There is no limit on the amount of people in the splashpad at one time
- We will close the splashpad if urgent attention is required
- Please follow the rules displayed around the splashpad. If they are not followed, the splashpad will be closed.
- If your child is not toilet trained, they should be wearing a swim nappy
- Please do not use any sort of bubble liquid or washing up liquid in the splash pad. It can be a slip hazard and causes damage which can lead to a shut down of the splash pad.
The splashpad is checked first thing in the morning to ensure it is safe to open. We check the water quality and look for litter, glass and anything else that is potentially harmful to the public.
We thank you for your patience while we carry out these important checks and your understanding that cleaning of the splashpad is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
If you notice anything at the splashpad that requires our attention please call customer services on 01562 732528.
