This website is run by Wyre Forest District Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Non compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Some of our pages are difficult to navigate using just a keyboard. This doesn’t meet WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.1.1 (Keyboard). We plan to fix this problem very soon.
- There are some issues with our ARIA ids. This doesn’t meet WCAG 2.1 success criterion 4.1.2 – (Name, Role, Value) or 1.3.1 (info and relationships). We plan to fix this problem in the next couple of months.
- There are some issues with contrast on our menu. This doesn't meet WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast minimum). We are working on fixing this.
How we tested this website
This website was last tested on 26 September 2019. The test was carried out by Wyre Forest District Council web team.
We tested all the pages on our main website platform, available at www.brintonpark.com.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
A procurement process is underway to buy digital quality monitoring software which will include accessibility compliance. Once purchased this will be used to automatically assess the compliance of any new content on a regular basis.

In 1882 my great great grandfather John Brinton donated 32 acres of land in the town centre of Kidderminster in Worcestershire as a pleasure ground for the enjoyment of the town's residents.
