Local volunteers joined forces to create a brand new pollinator garden in Brinton Park last week.
The garden is designed to help attract a wide range of pollinating insects like butterflies and bees, revitalising the park’s natural wildlife.
In total 800 plants, purchased by Wyre Forest District Council, were planted by volunteers from the Emily Jordan Foundation (Twigs), the West Midlands Butterfly Conservation Trust, WFDC Parks staff, Ranger Service and project volunteers.
We need your help at the park and have developed lots of volunteering opportunities for you to get involved with including helping us with events, carrying out historic research, helping out at the pop-up café, gardening (as above) and more!
A full list of opportunities can be found here.
